Barney Miller, Benson coming to Antenna TV this Fall

Clerk) [To Fish] Can I help you?

Fish) What can be done has been done

Such a Fish thing to say....:)

It's a good show. Lazy Nick; naive, oversexed Wojo; Trendy Harris; Know-it-all Dietrich,; Suck-up Leavitt; and a host of crazies that came and went the show had very few misses

Well, I tuned in to Antenna TV channel 8.2 here in Cleveland on Sunday evening to watch Barney Miller for the first time in years. But there was no Barney Miller. Both episodes were pre-empted by Big Chuck and Lil' John - a couple of locals who did some "comedy" skits while hosting movies over the past several years. I'm not sure of the reason. As far as I know, no other station in the area has the rights to Barney Miller. I sent an email to the station, but I have not yet received a response.

Barney Miller actually had some technical glitches within its broadcast on Sunday evening on the national Antenna TV feed (which KFOR broadcasts in full, outside of some local commercials once a half-hour). I know that the pilot episode appeared to have started a couple of minutes late and national commercials didn't play at all with a "technical difficulties" slide appearing instead, not so sure about the second episode that aired at 8:30/7:30 Central.

Yes, but will Antenna TV be coming to Pittsburgh? (are you listening KDKA, WPMY, WPCW?)

Over-the-air reception is iffy for me and I don't have the money for digital cable, but I really enjoyed "Benson" on "Screen Gems Network".

I can't believe it has been ten years.

I got to see the pilot episode of Benson and I assumed that the pilot of Barney Miller was shown as well, but I was working and had to miss it, and I forgot to set up my VCR. :(
