Did anyone else notice Baron James announcing his departure from KDFW during the 6PM newscast on Dec 18? Anyone know where he's heading?
 
I saw his 10pm goodbye...he wasn't specific as to what he'd do. I emailed him and in his answer it sounded like he wants to still be in the biz and stay here but either way, he seems to have faith that he'll find something else somewhere. I looked last night and early today but didn't see a vid on Ch.4's site or on YT.
 
Baron is a budget cut for Fox 4.
The fact he announced his departure and was allowed to work for several weeks after he got the news shows some class on Fox 4's part.
