Barox Instreamer 100 Reset

My Barix Instreamer 100 is asking for a user name and password when I log into its web interface. I've not used them in a while, so I have no idea what they are. Thinking a hard reset (hold the reset button for 5 seconds) would solve the problem, I did it. It still wants a user name and password.

Are there a default user name and password? What are my other options?

Per the Instreamer manual...

...Barix recommends resetting the configuration to factory defaults by keeping the Reset button pressed until the red LED starts blinking (approx. 10 seconds) and to start over with the configuration of the device.

If that doesn't work, I would call Barix directly.

Use a browser othyer than Google Chrome. You may be getting a ghost, it happens.

I finally got the reset to work and now have successfully created a stream. What I still don't understand is whether the 100 series will stream in PCM. It is available as an option on the pull-down menu, but the last time I tried to set it on the Instreamer 100, it locked up and had to be power cycled. I suspect that it doesn't work in PCM, but I would welcome a correction.

Yes, the firmware is up to date. I'll try to send them an email. It's surprising that no one knows the answer. The question seems like a fundamental one.

PCM (16 bit @ 8 or 24 kHz) is what the latest firmware is suppose to do on the instreamer. That's why i asked about the firmware update...
