BARRY FARBER FOR HANNITY!

It was great to here Barry Farber fill in for Hannity today (12/31). Barry is the last of a dying breed in this biz - an honest, intellectually honest, old fashioned conservative who treats his callers with respect EVEN if they're liberals. I hope he'll be back for a few more days this week.

Reminds me of the DAYNET days (by the way, pursuant to my other post on this nonstopradio organization, that network featured TWO LIBERALS (Colmes, Dr. Joy Brown) and was run like a BUSINESS, with Colmes on over 200 stations (2X that of Big Ed!!!).

And today, Barry's signature that I remember so well from DAYNET at the end of at least one caller who he agreed with:

"Have your secretary type it and I'll sign it!
"

and another...

"I'll have so many days to talk about that subject than a North Carolina Porquipine has quills."

and...to a caller who he disagreed with...

"It's like putting a milk bucket under a bull, we're not getting anywhere."

Conservaive PD's - if you had more Conservatives like Barry on the air, liberals like myself would be listening. But instead, you have the new breed of the yelling and screaming type - the Levins, the Hannitys, the Savages, and the WRKO types who get suspended.

Liberals won't listen to these hosts.

Likewise, Air America and Non Stop PD's, if you would have more Liberals like Alan Colmes, Jay Marvin, and Stacy Taylor on the air, then you would have more conservatives listening, and start making a profit for a change.

Barry Farber is a true gem, and like you said, a dying breed.

He ranks up there with Larry King, Bruce Williams, Tom Snyder and Gill Gross.

I didn't hear his fill-in for Hannity, as I rarely listen to that broken record much anymore. There are more interesting shows on the air.

Well, just so you know. Barry has filled in for Hannity before. Sean is a huge Barry Farber fan, having grown up on Barry and learned from him. You may not see it in Hannity today, but he did. Sean personally approves all of his hosts, and he asked me to have Barry fill in. It was a great show.

I'm not a huge Hannity fan but I am a huge fan of Barry.

All I can say is Sean thanks for asking to have Barry fill in and Phil thanks for arranging it.

Barry is a true treasure.

That was a good afternoon of talk radio I heard accidentally when Farber was on.
Thanks.

Does Barry Farber still do any local shows?
