Barry Lunderville has bought the WUKV 97.1 CP from EMF in Colebrook N.H.He owns other stations in the area so this will probobly end up being a simulcast.

I thought Berry was at the Market Cap for radio stations. Is it because different area COL?
It looks like Colebrook is far enough away from Lyndonville so Z97 on Western facing mountains will not be affected.

somebody with more knowledge about the ownership caps could probably explain it better but from what i know, it's about overlapping dbu circles. So the Berlin stations wouldn't factor in with the Littleton stations, and vice versa.

On another note, why does Barry have all his radio stations licensed to different companies that he has an interest in? White Mountains Broadcasting (which is who WUKV is technically being bought buy, 100% owned by Lunderville) is the 6th company with his name attached to it. WXXS is Radio New England, WOTX is Alexxon, the translators are under Cupid Broadcasting, an unbuilt non-comm FM is Nostalgia One and the rest are under his name.

Colebrook is over 25 miles from his "operations center" in Littleton, so he'll need to have some sort of "main studio" there. His stations are all jukeboxes anyway so it's not like he's going to hire an airstaff or anything.
I don't know how he's ever gonna make any money on this though...it's not like the economy is exactly booming in the north country.
