Heard that his popular Saturday Night show was cancelled abruptly, by E-MAIL. Is it proper to fire someone from a job by E-MAIL? Do they have any respect for their employees at WODS? Crappy job guys.
Anyway, seems Oldies wanted to do something different and his mix of disco and dance tunes wasn't cutting it, although it did get great ratings. His Sunday night "Lost 45's" show remains on, for now but would you blame him for leaving after being notified so coldly by e-mail. By the way, having read the other posts below, I believe he started the show at Emerson in the early 80s then was Marketing/Promotions Director at ZLX for its first 7 years--taking the show with him there. Then to Mix 985 and Oldies. That 45s show has always done extremely well in the ratings. He knows his stuff. www.lost45.com tells you more.
