Barry Young upsets the craziest of the wingnuts!

Has KFYI’s Barry Young gone too far?
October 4, 2011 By Sonoran Alliance 13 Comments

Republicans who tune into KFYI-550 on any weekday morning between 7-10 am are bound to hear the daily critique of Republican elected officials by the nearly famous Barry Youn(g). This has been going on for several months now with little critical attention paid to any of the other parties elected and unelected. For example, how often has the nearly famous Barry Young show given any critical analysis to Pearce challenger, Jerry Lewis or known domestic violence state legislator, Daniel Patterson?

Sonoran Alliance is funnier than The Onion, the scary thing is, its serious to them.

Oh well, they always have Mike Jughead, who loves Pearce so much, he is speaking at his upcoming rally (hide those swastikas!)

:D :D :D :D :D :D

He has always seemed like he is really not into the conservative thing, it is just where the money is right now. If it paid to be liberal, that is what he would be. One guy who was on the kfyi at one point, (I forgot his name, sort of a libertarian guy) mentioned more than once that Barry Young was not really a principled conservative, but a guy packaging a radio persona that sells.

On many of the immigration issues and ballot measures, Young did the shuffle.

Talk radio is fake, you are whatever the ratings say you must be.

But its funny to see this tiny subset of wingnuts angry because
Barry isn't as conservative as them. They want JD back on the radio.

Dear lord...they are the fringe....

Just like Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, and the rest of the Blowhard-American Community.

Whaddaya mean the studio audience is fake?

Barry is a broadcaster, first and foremost. He doesn't do talking-points radio (thank heavens). He's not doing schtick, he really is center-right, just not kook-fringe right. And yes, I worked with Barry for seven years, so I have some insight on this.

That studio audience is absolutely, 100 percent real. The fact that they were recorded decades ago and were put on an L.A. Air Force sound effects record in no way diminishes their reality.

It was Charles Goyette that implied that the nearly famous one was a ratings driven cardboard cut-out. The fake illegal alien, goes with the fake audiance, and shows he really does not take the immigration stuff very seriously. He has to pay lip service to many of these buzz issues or he would be off the air. He does do talking points radio, but it is wrapped in an Arthur Godfrey smooze style.

Dr. Akbar should apply for a token Arab character on the nearly famous one's show.

(fake studio audience sfx) ...clap, clap, clap, clap...
