How come these guys don't ever read the instant feedback on their show. They promote the hell out of it but whenever I post something they never read my comments.
 
Because what they read is the same as the other shows... A script. There are not enough listeners who actually listen that take the time to provide instant feedback and/or texts. A good example was last week Jagger asked the listeners to send in jokes via feedback or text and then they read them aloud. It was obviously show prep jokes they were reading not from any listeners... And if there were listeners why didn't they have them call in?
 
I noticed that about Jagger, reading "Fan texts" like they were from listeners. The most blatant was this past Friday when he did a top 10 list and made some of the entries sound like they came from listeners. I know the prep service he uses and where that material came from...he should be embarrassed and disgusted with himself for sinking so low! :-[
 
I heard a promo today that said "getting more fans everyday." Not what the ratings are indicating, but who cares right?
 
Can someone please explain to me why they seemed to me like they were boohooing over Reunion Arena being torn down but neither have a single memory of the place?

Heck they have never even done any work in Dallas until after Reunion Arena was closed.

Oh and did I mention that soon after they boohooed about Reunion, they homered up and talked about the Cowboys again.
 
OMG No Way, they were talking Cowboys? How dare they. Are you serious? I'm sick of all the "You have to be born here to be a fan" BS. By that logic no one could ever understand the aura of Camden Yards nor the old Yankee Stadium. Some things are just a classic and everyone can appreciate.
Half the people in Dallas are NOT from the Dallas area.

Do you guys work for CBS? Is this some sad marketing plan of bringing attention to KRLD-FM? You guys post over and over and over and over again about KRLD-FM. For folks that claim they don't like or listen to it, you sure spend a lot of time listening to it and posting every trivial detail about what they have on their air (what morning traffic chic is out sick, what topics they are talking about, etc.).

I do not work for CBS nor do I want to. I think what it is is that so many people like myself are just waiting for the Fan to fail miserably. It's like watching a bad movie you know it sucks but you want to see how it ends.

I don't know where you got that idea but I never said this or implied it. I am just sick of them talking about the cowboys and acting if they are know-it-alls when it comes to the cowboys and all stuff Dallas when they have only been here a few months.

As a disclaimer, I am born and raised in the Dallas area but I am a Minnesota Vikings fan because of heritage and the fan spirit. Also because of former sooner Adrian Peterson.
 
they DO seem like East Coast blowhards. They don't really discuss sports as much as shout their opinions and reallly try to stir things up.

As for the OT here...A radio person can ALWAYS tell when the host is just reading off his prep sheet. Billy Madison is another one that ALWAYS doin bits that include "38% of men do this".....
