Was Barsky back today..? I was not able to listen..

Awfully long case of laryngitis..how long does it usually last?

I wonder..

According to "WrongDiagnosis.com" , symptoms of laryngitis can last from 10 to 14 days, and include hoarseness and loss of voice. Couzin Ed is doing a hell of a job filling in, and gets along well with the rest of the staff. I know where you are going , and yes, I wonder too.

When I lost my voice in early 2000, it was completely gone for one week, hoarse for a second, and it was nearly a month before it was up to its old level.

Unfortunately, the middle of that first week was when I had my job interview for the morning job at WZXL! :)

Yes, I too have been loving Cousin Ed as Barsky's fill in.
Infinity MGMT should consider either (BLEEP)-canning Kidd Chris and giving Ed a show, or tossing the music all together and puting Ed on after Kidd Chris. Either way, Ed should do a talk show, he's informative, topical, and funny.
I think inadvertiantly Ed may have stumbled onto some new turf.

Ethel...

A particularly nasty case of laryngitis can last weeks. It can be complicated by lack of rest, lack of rest for the voice, smoking, the weather and a person's own ability to heal.

One sure-fire remedy that I've always used is "Singer's Secret"; it's a throat-spray that really works on laryngitis.

I agree... Cousin Ed is much more entertaining that Kidd Chris...

but don't dump Barsky... he hasn't even had a chance to piss off a whole new bunch of listeners yet... :)
