BART DICKLEY ON CBS FM NEW YEARS EVE

I was surprised to hear Dick Bartley's canned new years eve on CBS fm last nite. I'm wondering why they couldn't get one of their own jocks to do a countdown; the show sounded canned and syndicated vs live and local. Anyone that couldn't do better than Bart Dickley on their own shouldn't be on the air. Nothing wrong with a pre recorded show, but it sounded cheesy... ???

happy new year :D

It is obvious. They are saving money by not having to hire a fill-in DJ.

Warm590, I know his name was wrong, it's Dick Bartley, not Bart Dickley! I remember Dick Bartley where he is doing "American Gold" and "Rock & Roll's Greatest Hits" on WBPM's former "Cool 92.9" about two years ago, but he was great! Too bad, he is not on anymore except his show is on WZCR's "Cruisin' 93.5" in Hudson, NY and on WTRY in Albany, NY where he does his show on weekends, except the show was not being heard on the internet stream on WTRY.

????????????????????????????????????? ???

wtf??

I fail to see what's so comedically brilliant about switching the first syllables of someone's first and last name.
