BARTER IMAGING/JINGLE PACKAGES?

Do any of you know of any imaging or jingle packages available on a barter basis? We're a small 500 watt AM daytimer that is in need of some workparts. We've got a voice, but would love to add a small jingle package and some "sizzle" to this great little station!

I am aware that TM/Century has does some barter work at times, but if you have, or could come up with $500...

Ben Friedman offers something called "Promo Bank". It's a complete series of promo beds, jingle shouts, DJ shouts, and yes, it has an "instant jingle kit". It comes with group sings (male/female, male only, female only) of various call letter combinations which you can string together on a waveform editing program like Cool Edit Pro or Adobe Audition. It can actually produce a jingle or jingles which for a small station would sound pretty decent. I realize $500 bucks is a lot for a small station, but it's wayyyyyy cheaper than paying for a jingle package. And the beds and stuff on there may also be of help, as it comes with news and sports musical opens and closes, beds, etc...

Trade for a hotline? I always wondered how the barter system in radio worked.

In my ownership/management days we traded w/Tanner for bic lihters and razors (for prizes) lots of hotel rms and cruises for vacation, Dairy Queen Sundaes (prizes, and Theatre Tix (prizes), and 10 record albums a week from a local department store( for 5 mentions a day). We rana religious progrm for 30 min on Sunday and got 20 jimgles annually.

We traded w/a furniture store for 3 thousand a year and got WONDERFUL living rm suite, a bedroom set (still in use 25 years later) a new Ford every year, a used car every year, groceries from a local supermarket, nice suits for our salespeople and me, gas for the sales people, snow removal for my driveway, a beautiful huge fireplace for our home, and LOTS of "classy" retssurant meals for my wife and I and LOTS of Chicago area sports and show tix

Many times, cash-poor businesses would trade and we would get merchandise, etc. The small market station still grossed 25-40k a month in cash sales.
