Word is that the BAS Clear Channel deal for Sandusky, Tiffin/Findlay has now closed!
WCPZ-FM, WMJK-FM, WLEC-AM, WTTF-AM, WPFX-FM

Not quite...at least not for WPFX and WTTF, which they turned around and sold right after closing the deal.

So WHY is WPFX off the air after a brief format switch after moving "The Fox" format and branding to WBUK Ottawa?

I believe WPFX shared a facility with WCKY. Including Prophet, network drives, etc, etc. So, I believe (not a fact) that new WPFX owners Toledo Radio Inc are seeking a new facility. Can't really share facilities, equip, etc with a competitor. Doesn't really work.
 
Dont know for sure, but rumor has it that they are going to locate studios in Perrysburg area. The new station will be a Toledo Rimshot for sure, but have a lot of focus on Perrysburg, Bowling Green, etc.
