Baseball Legend Willie Mays

That saddens me. Not only was he one of the all-time greats, he was sort-of a neighbor, living in the next town over from me. Back when he was healthier, we'd occasionally see his car on the local roads -- for a long time it was a cream-colored Bentley -- with the unmistakable California plate "SAY HEY".

RIP, Mr. Mays, you've earned the right to never be forgotten. A true class act.

The World of Sports has recently lost some giants. Bill Walton, Jerry West, and now the legendary Willie Mays.
RIP...

One of the legends of the MLB. His legacy as #24 will live on forever. The Catch in game 1 of the '54 World Series is one of the greatest baseball plays of all time.
May he forever RIP. Say hi to Babe Ruth and Jackie Robinson for us.

Somehow I was thinking he had already died.

I was in the mountains this week and had cable TV, and TruTV showed "42". That was already planned. For there to be a Willie Mays in Major League Baseball, there had to be a Jackie Robinson.
