Baseball on the radio

I am hoping that WTIC doesn't do a sloppy job of covering over the phrase "on the WRKO Red Sox (sponsor name) Radio Network".

I have heard rumors that the Yankees will be simulcasted from WPOP to WAVZ this year, so at least ESPN RADIO 1300 will have something to go along with their Inside Yankee Baseball show, which I certainly hope they are going to bring back, because it is an excellent show from top to bottom.

Isn't New Haven covered sufficiently by the signals of WCBS and WICC?

New Haven? Shoot, WCBS booms out across almost the entire state, no? I've picked them up pretty well at Bradley airport during the daytime. WICC is also a strong signal in New Haven.

Granted, the thread title is "Baseball on the Radio". I could post a comment regarding the Montgomery Biscuits on WLWI-AM, and it can still qualify. ::)

That's right. ;D The defending Southern League Champion Montgomery Biscuits; Double-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. In the Southern League along with the Birmingham Barons, Chattanooga Lookouts, Huntsville Stars, Jacksonville Suns, Tennessee Smokies, Carolina Mudcats, West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx, Mobile Bay Bears and Mississippi Braves.
I actually went to a Stars/Mudcats playoff game at the Joe 5 years ago.

Does this mean I can post a comment on the Worcester Tornadoes? ;D

How 'bout the Pawsox? ;D

Hickory Crawdads from the Sally League.

Bridgeport Bloooooooooooooooofish from the Atlantic League along with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, managed by Butch Hobson.

How 'bout the Atlantic City Surf and their new manager Cecil Fielder? ;D
