Baseball Radio-TV rights fees in 1961

Looked like the Dodgers benefited greatly from only a small number of games on TV (all against the Giants), making $1 million that year from broadcasting rights.

In regards to the Braves, one of the factors that led them to re-locate from Boston to Milwaukee was that a large number of games back in Boston being televised were affecting their home attendance. Ironically, it wasn't until 1962 that the Braves finally started televising games in Milwaukee. Of course, it was all for naught, as the Braves ended up moving to Atlanta a few years later anyway.

Surprising to me (I was born in late August '61) that the Reds weren't on WLW or that the Tigers only had WJR as an affiliate rather than their flagship.
