I couldn't figure out the best place for this, so I'm hoping someone here will know.
I travel a lot for work, I haven't been in Louisiana in a few years tho. I found out today that I'll be working in Monroe and BR this spring and summer. I am really looking forward to some good downhome cookin' ;D
The last time I was in BR I remember there being quite a few LP/CA TV stations on the air. Going thru the listings I was surprised to see quite a few analogue stations still being shown.
WBRZ still shows up with a seperate listing for RF 2. Also KZUP CA, WBRL CA, WSTY LP, WBHX CA and K48IT all there.
I have the TV listing app and usually a city I work in may have one TBN or foreign language station show up. I was shocked how many I found in the BL area.
Is this just a mixup on part of the app or are these stations still operating.
I figured many of these stations may be hanging on to the 2015 deadline due to hurricanes. I think states like Louisianna and Florida should be allowed to keep a LP or CA in anologue for emergency weather.
Thanks for any answers, it was very surprising to see so many "old school" station listed in one area.
