Some thoughts:

- I believe that that the River is still getting the Christmas benefit here.

- 104.1 is again a great Baton Rouge station; this time, it really sheared numbers from 1460. I don't know when the New Orleans numbers come out again, but we'll see how it fares there.

- WTQT is still skewing the numbers for 94.9, I believe.

- Someone tell Queenie that she needs to figure out that 92.3 and 103.3 are redundant here, and 103.3 is getting cannibalized.

Speaking of Baton Rouge, how is the new night show at WFMF doing numbers-wise?

Don't know about the 504; but on the Bayou, I find people are still listening to Dowdy's 94.9 WPRF roughly 5 to 1 usually.
My gut says look for the same thing in New Orleans (the same situation as Kiss 104 where BR does way better than NOLA)... No advertising outside of the NOLA CC channels that I am aware of (And that's just on WQUE and WYLD that I am aware of), and with listeners scattered to the 4 winds still... Unless CC wants to wise up and realize that it's better as a BR station for right now..it will stay.. if they still beleive it to be a NOLA station, I think it will depend more on what Dowdy does with his station IMO.

Would also like to see how the numbers will skew even harder when Dowdy's upgrade will put a pretty good signal over the more populated areas of Ascension (also will wonder if they ever flip format)

I find 92.3 more pop with 103.3 more as McQueen's true vision.. But it's kind of bad when inside radio does a story about a consultant and his "new" idea for a format not unlike Diva and proceeds to point out why Diva was a bad choice as a image
http://ftp.media.radcity.net/ZMST/daily/ISMar022006.htm

The two stations Citadel blew up Last year are still struggling with numbers worse than the stations they replaced overall. I'm just wondering how the numbers are gonna go on Red with Sig and Vydra (former PD and MD of KKND New Orleans when it was Alt. Rock and current morning crew on "rockin' country 106.7) as pd and MD respectively on here.

It's 99.1 KXKC. They have flipped within the last month or so to a new country format not unlike 100.7 but I find they do a better job at PD/MDing the station in Lafayette than 100.7 does. I'm wondering if the numbers are gonna go up or down by the next book (this will show if new country in BR is a bad idea or if Guaranty is just having problems making it work)... I know country ledgends 107.3 is starting to age a little with the music (I can't put my finger on it but both ledgends and WYNK both rub me wrong for some reason but I can't place what it is... Probably both stations habits of playing recurrants and gold that is burnt possibly?)

But these all are just my thoughts on it....
