Battery Powered Remote Speakers

Wish list:
How about a powered speaker that has rechargable batteries so it'll run 4 hours* without being plugged in!
Haven't seen anything that fits.

Would be great for venues that you don't want/can't have cords running everywhere.
Last minute sound reinforcement would be a snap.

Already have the wireless audio part working good.

*Talk formats mostly so battery drain would be less than a music station.

I personally own a model very similar to this. It has 22 watts of power, but uses very efficient speaker drivers, so it gets plenty loud. It has a 1/4" input, rca in, and built-in AM/FM tuner of decent sensitivity/selectivity. At moderate volumes it last about 10 hours in my experience.

Comrex Access on 4G plus this equals totally cordless remote with PA, that's impressive!

The company (has the rights to the University's sports) that we do the shows for has installed ISDN lines.
The Access is backup.
600 MHz IFB sends the local mix to the speakers.
