Battle of the 70s Weekends

This weekend, both 95.7 Ben-FM AND Sunny 104.5 are doing all 70s weekends. Ben is doing a "can't live without the 70s weekend", and Sunny is doing their usual "Sunny 70s weekend." From what I've heard so far, they sound very similar.

And WOGL's "I Love the '70's Sunday" Noon to 9pm. Anybody playing anything they wouldn't play mixed in to their usual playlist? So far nobody has equaled the variety of the short lived all '70's WBUX 1570 back in the '90's, everything from pop, bubblegum, rock, disco.

So far nobody has equaled the variety of the> short lived all '70's WBUX 1570 back in the '90's,> everything from pop, bubblegum, rock, disco.> Don't forget "Toast and Marmalade", Tin Tin, "One Toke Over the Line" - Brewer and Shipley, "Mr. Bojangles" - NGD-Band, "Easy Loving" - Freddie Hart, "13 Questions" - Seatrain, all played on the mighty all 70's BUX, which seemed to have a better daytime signal back then 1993. MGK helped destroy them with a bland variety of 70's, thanks to Mike Bowe.

I have to give the advantage to BEN for The Babys 'Every Time I Think of You', Sniff & The Tears 'Driver's Seat', Atlanta Rhythm Section 'Imaginary Lover' and Walter Egan 'Magnet and Steel' (just love that toy piano ). SNI scores points for things like Manilow, Paul Davis, and Skylark but they always fall back way way too much on disco
