bay city 92.5

is this station,
KZRC-FM @ $750K worth the price..

I have inquired before..but, am interested in, again
what is to be said of this station..*AGAIN * I am just
curious..and not *SERIOUS* to buy any Property/station,
or broadcasting establishment..but I would love too !!

(sidenote: do you think, citadel, will ever sell off a
single station, in their multi-clustered markets ?)...just curious..

My apologies for the repeat of a previous post concerning 92.5 KZRC from last year. This is only to quickly bring you update. I see they raised the price.

According to buysellradio.com/forsale.html
KZRC 92.5 FM has been on the market for quite a while-
and now, the price is reduced..to 550-k. I am about
550,000 short of the asking price..but
1. is this station worth it?
2. could this area/market be a hott dance station?
i can dream, cant i ?

I was discussing this station the other day with a couple of freinds of mine. They were looking into the possibilty of buying it. I think it only has 6000 watts and can't get more due to KCOL in Beaumont and another one near to this area, as well. (No, I do not know where it is.) However, it is my understanding that it can't get more, because of those hinderances. Currently, its a alternative/rock/ac/something station. LOL. It is a stictly Matagorda County/Bay City station. It is NOT a Southwest Houston station. They said the price was too high.

.Don't waste your money. It is "treed" in by other stations that aren't going anywhere anytime soon. And the current signal covers a lot of nothing.

Even during great tropo conditions to the south, when other stations in that area boom in, I have yet to hear KZRC here in NW Harris County.

Like I stated at the end of my statement: "...it is NOT a Southwest Houston station. They said the price was too high."

Calling this station a "SOUTHWEST HOUSTON/BAY CITY STATION" is not a reality at all. it is only a class A station, which is limited to 6 Thousand watts MAX. and there is no way to improve that, it is a LITTLE local station, and is not even licensed to Bay City, But to Markum, Texas.
I know the guy that currently ownes it, and he is a good guy.
