Bay Smooth Jazz on 1.FM

I am testing out a Wi-Fi internet radio (neat thing) and browsing the smooth jazz offerings. Found some internet station called "Bay Smooth Jazz, a service of 1.FM" and it's an interesting station. Not really hearing any new offerings (not good) but hearing a pleasant, nicely done mix otherwise. Doing some googling, can't really find much information about this 1.FM outfit other than they seem to have a pretty large selection of available genres. There's also some generic national-type commercials mixed in. And even some liners from artists, so it can't be too obscure of a station. Any info on Bay Smooth Jazz?

Also, as cool as this wi-fi internet radio is, it's got some drawbacks. The .wav is not searchable. And neither is The Harmonic Lounge. And I can't seem to find a way to punch in non-searchable streams. Any ideas? This radio is the one from CCrane. Funny thing is, I was shocked how easy it was to find the other station I like: Kutztown University Radio. That came right up. Perhaps because they're on Live 365?

Hey I-78. Hope you are doing well! Bay Smooth Jazz on the 1.FM portal has been around for years, longer than I have been on the air. As you said, decent outlet, but nothing spectacular, IMO. You don't hear a lot of lost NAC there, of which there is a ton.

If your new radio uses the Reciva directory, which I believe it does, you SHOULD be able to find me by searching under "wavjazz.net". Congrats on the Internet radio purchase. Happy streaming!!!! 8)
 
Found you, AC! I was just punching in ".wav." I punched in the full name, and there you are. Thank you for saving me from "Bay Smooth Jazz," which is the best I could find up 'til now. It's not too bad, but not too good either. ::) Now if only I could get this thing to work with "The Harmonic Lounge," then I'd be all set.
