Bayou Country Opening

According to all sources (AllAccess, R&R and Country Aircheck) C107.5 KCIL has a PD/MD/Afternoon opening. I don't know more than the former PD made a few waves in Nashville and got a few big shows to buy spots on the station (Kenny Chesney, Hank Williams Jr and Sugarland's CMT On Tour). He/she put KCIL back on the map, as far as Nashville will allow them to play in the game. I wonder what happened to allow someone to get away who made such gaines like they did? From what I've seen it's at least +2 sharre from last year 25-54 in their ratings (Eastlan). Judging by the reputation coming out of that cluster, they were bigger than the cluster wanted to be. An active Website compared to similar markets, a lot of on-air pormotioins that led to good if not great numbers for that cluster and they sponsered and promoted a concert that drew almost 1,000 to see Jack Ingram (let's be honest here) at a historically bad venue (HTCC). Another good programmer gone from south LA. I wish them well.
 
The station (KCIL) is a Houma station and wouldn't make sense to bring Houma residents to say New Orleans to see him (As HTCC is the biggest venue in the area).

All I do know is it's been a quick change as the morning guy is right now doing afternoons and the computer still had it advertising for afternoon man.

The cluster has done better I think than before guaranteed as Guaranty let it flounder around in my opinion and not brought it to be competitive as Sunburst has.
