Morgan City station KBZE (Urban/Gospel) seems to be one of the first stations in the state to set up Podcasting (broadcasting for IPods and other like devices) for it's listeners.
This is newsworthy in the fact that this is a small town radio station run locally and not one of the major corporation radio companies doing this IMO.
Currently, there are Podcasts of Nicholls State University's Football win over McNeese, a daily pod of inspiration from a local Houma church, and featured speakers related to the NAACP locally.
Future expected coverage would include most of the Nicholls games.
