97.1 "THE RIDE"/syndicated country show/french
97.9 heard them say central wisconsion loud and clear.. too much QRM from 98.1 to ID
101.1 - country and r&b
103.7 country/adventures in oddsey (sp?)/"lou jack kia" ad
105.3 kawmie (sp?) FM (qrm from country 105.5)
196.9: religon, minnesota twins ad, and teen pop.
107.1 religion with QRM from MY..
107.9 classical rock "here i go again" was played then ground wave stations.

Dangit, I seem to be missing all the openings this year. :(

I can help with two of these...

103.7 is WLLR Davenport, Iowa - great catch! The commercial was for Lujack Kia. (Larry Lujack? ;D )

I think 97.9 is WSPT Stevens Point, Wisconsin. It don't get much more middle of cheese country than that!

I think you mean 106.9 MHz, not 196.9 MHz. I think that would be TV channel 9 or 10. In that case, I'm guessing you had KROC, Rochester, MN, which has a CHR format.

103.7 is probably WWIB, Hallie, WI, with "Adventures in Odyssey". Not sure if they carry it, but they are a Christian station that I can imagine doing so...

97.9 is almost certainly WSPT, Steven's Point, WI.
 
minor error. i was way off when i spelled odd. as firefox didn't have a correction for it.

the weather is cloudy today so doubtfully there will be e.

what causes this? staggered air or humidity?

Seems like I have only seen "e" on partly cloudy days. I'm told it's related to wind shear but I don't think anyone really knows.
