It's in my other post, but I'll repeat it here.
I'm hearing it should start between Friday (8/5) and Monday (8/8).

So when you get in your car Friday morning check stream 97. I would assume it would be on in the morning for the AM Drive slot.
If it's not on by Friday afternoon they proabably won't launch until Monday morning. It's possible, but doubtful they'd launch over the weekend. I don't think SIRIUS has ever done channel switches over the weekend.

Knowing SIRIUS it will be Monday so just sit back and relax. It will be on soon.

Radio 1 Starts this Tuesday @ 9am

I guess it got delayed another couple days.

from SIRIUS website:
Starting this Tuesday at 9 am, you'll have a chance to hear the best of the UK music scene and one of the world's most respected radio stations as BBC Radio 1 comes to SIRIUS.

Playing an irresistible mix of today's best pop, rock, R&B and hip-hop, Radio 1 also features interviews with a distinctive British flair, extensive coverage of music events from around the world and exclusive live performances by some of the hottest artists on the international music scene.

The Radio 1 schedule will be time-shifted for American audiences, so you'll be able to enjoy the lineup as it's heard in the UK—including The Chris Moyles Show in the morning, Scott Mills in the afternoon, and Essential Selection with Pete Tong on Friday nights.

Check back here for more info about the debut of Radio 1 on SIRIUS. Visit the BBC Radio 1 website for the full broadcast schedule, music news, special features and more.

Maybe they'll follow up and add the rest of the BBC Radio channels up as well. I Radio 6 personally. BBC Radio 6 is like more underground alternative and eclectic(Think Left Of Center)with a mix of other things like funk, reggae and world beats.
