BBC Radio on 95.9 FM Montreal ?

I'm listening with Global Tuners to Montreal node today and heard the BBC News on now at 95.9 FM...does Virgin Radio air BBC news in the evening or did they flip to News format ?

Update..excuse the post the radio seems to be off frequency...must be CBC radio...

I can't think of anybody airing BBC World Service in Montreal, during the day. The CBC does carry some BBC programming over night. Having said that, Vermont Public radio carries it and I certainly have no problem picking up 107.9 WVPS in Montreal.

BBC seems to LOVE Montreal.

(My best guess is that they made a deal with CBC to air content earlier than the usual time.)

I have to admit, there is a lot to love about Montreal :D. But Yez, there's no indication in the CBC Montreal (or CBC Quebec) schedules indicating BBC programing being carried, other than what the national network carries.

A couple things to keep in mind, is that the frequency in question is 95.9 and the 'Montreal' node, is actually Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, south east of Montreal, which lies well within (BBC heavy) VPR coverage, from neighbouring Vermont.
