That's a solid state audio board. I wonder if a quality power amp like a Crown would be able replace the Audio Board. Might have to use some kind of matching transformer/network.
Depends on the age. Earlier versions of the 1H still had 807s in the audio driver. I never worked on the later model which did have a solid state audio driver. I have seen a Gates BC5P2 with a modified audio driver using a Crown audio amp but that was a long time ago.
That board also generates the -170V or so bias voltage for the finals. The early SS versions had a stack of direct coupled delco transistors and the board would avalanche when a tube kicked back. They really aren't difficult to repair if you can find the correct devices. Check the Zener in the audio driver power supply, it creates a 20 volt (IIRC) voltage off the main B+ that the transistors need to operate.
