Former BCA "staff" (not otherwise indicated) is apparently retained by LMA. Interesting.

The announcement seems very confusing to me. "Breaking up?" Into what?
Is BCA breaking with LMA? Is BCA breaking up from itself? Are the stations in BCA going to each be separate?
I'm sorry, but this is very confusing. What, exactly is splitting?

Garrett, Did you read the story?

Agree with Garrett-- I'm confused as to management composition and to a lesser degree station alignment. I read elsewhere that Gregg Wolfson becomes GM of the LMA stations; who is going to be GM of the BCA stations? And what's the reason a GSM from Compass' KPRI would now be overseeing sales for KPRI and the former BCA group jointly?

Easy: the agreement with each other companies will not be renewed at this time. They will be roommates in the same office space. Weird vibes, eh? Yep, that's right: no co-company agreement but they will be in the same building.

BCA: Larry Patrick is the CEO and Jack Evans the VP of Programming. Larry is the "GM" for the time being. The GSM with Compass Radio KPRi and Pat Osburne gives the sales gals and guys four stations to shop for ads instead of one or three. Combine forces and give 'em bundled spots across the stations.

Remember, Mr. Lynch has filed a lawsuit against BCA and why would a potential buyer want that on the table? Chances are, most lawsuits of this kind never see the court room.

The reason for all of the moves is money.

You might want to ask for a refund on that creative writing course :)

BCA has some heavy seas to steer through but there is a star to guide her by. The economy, while not chugging very fast, is picking up. The crew remains tough, and the hull, while beaten about, still is very sea worthy.

My writing to crusty for you Bob?

I'm sorry Chris, yes I did, but I just did not understand.

Don't be sorry Garrett, because if you understood, I was going to ask you. ;D
