Good luck with your search. My daughterr and two daughters in law are all teachers. College, High School, and Kindergarten respectively. All three of them seem to be working in areas where their skills seem to be in high demand. Here's hoping that's the case for you, and that you'll have your pick of good offers. It all depends on where a school district will hire me for a teaching job post-student teaching. It could be back in the Yakima area, could be around here, and it could be as far as north Idaho. I may temporarily live in another apartment in Ellensburg until I find a job, or relocate depending on when I get a notice that I've been hired.
That period post-graduation will be very "fluid."
Good luck, my dude! Just be sure to bring your best bunny ears for summer ES!It all depends on where a school district will hire me for a teaching job post-student teaching. I think it is generally accepted fact that the dxworld loggers will not be back in time for E-skip season, even though I can still access their homepage. I actually suspect the website owner might have decided to give up as well, but I have hope that this is just a long delay because of the service attacks that happened back in February and that the owner is taking his time to properly set-up the website again. Either way though, it looks like we'll be without these awesome loggers for a long time.
So, what is everybody's back up plan? I know most of us went over to the WTFDA (it looks like they dropped the registration fee since the last time I went over there 🤩 ), and some of us congregated here on RD. I don't mind logging in (when I can remember my password 🤣), but nothing is truly faster than the loggers at dxworld. I wonder if there is some way to replicate this ourselves, somehow?
Thank you, I'll check them out!I suggest the FM DX Watchdogs group on Facebook
Sounds good! If they're more secure, maybe they can avoid the DDOS that happened to the DXW logger. There's a live-chat blab site that is similar in a way to the DX World loggers, except more secure.
What grade level are you applying for? My sister, my mother and two nephews are or were teachers. Best of luck to you !It all depends on where a school district will hire me for a teaching job post-student teaching. Despite what they say right on their website, WTFDA is not welcoming or friendly... and have booted several people form their ranks (FB page and other stuff). I was just getting into FM dxing, overly exicted.. didnt quite understand by band and tropo back when i lived in Pennsylvania. and was booted without warning from the FB group. I'm not perfect by any means but the WTFDA is a snobish bunch of good ole boys.
Though... their FM Database at db.wtfda.org with slogans and such is useful

The downside is that you have to pay to use it, which I'm unwilling to do.I am a WTFDA member, and their new bulletin board is operating very smoothly. It’s much better than that “other” board. It’s less cluttered. You can go on there and see all the DX reports without having to read through countless chit chat. And best of all, there’s no bots 🤖 taking over. You need a user and password to use it.
Best of luck to you!4th or 5th grade (maybe 3rd grade), or a specialist position leaning on STEM or Library. Student teaching takes up a lot of my open time right now, but I know my kids are benefitting from the activities I provide and the grading of assignments that I do.
At this point, it's all about graduating and getting that Bachelor's Degree. The location where I move to doesn't matter right now. But there is a limit as I need to be within a few hours' driving from family in case of an emergency. The farthest I plan on moving to is the Libby/Kalispell MT area. After spending Spring Break in Idaho a couple of weeks ago, I realized how kindhearted the people are. There was no snobby attitudes from any of the employees at any of the stores (thrift, grocery, hotels, etc.) that I visited. And Sandpoint is so beautiful. Several blocks of cool shops and restaurants, a huge lake and a beach that reminds me of the Puget Sound. But if there isn't jobs, I can't move out there.
Eastern WA is of course a possibility, even back to the Yakima area (where I lived 2013-19).
