BDH BLUNDER

What I heard was, some caller posed a question to Greggo, then said, "...so how high were you when..." and then.......nothing. It was like the board op was trying to dump out of the caller, but dumped the show instead AND left the caller on! Dead air, then the caller saying "hello?" and more silence and then a Toyota dealer spot. Then they rejoined mid-sentence with BDH thereafter. Pure chance that I tuned in right when this happened.

Greggo...crowned the new King of Uncomfortable Pauses.

I tuned in today around 4:50pm, and heard Richard talk about taking calls about 'what happened yesterday'. He said he would explain what happened. I was still listening at 5:20 when I switched it off, still not knowing what happened...just that he has known Greggo for years, and that both had worked at more than one radio station.
That's a half hour of my life I'll never get back.
Thanks, Mike, now I finally know what the deal was.
BTW- How odd to have promos positioning the station as 'Liberal' leading into a newscast from the IRN/USA Network.
