Be aware...Be Very Aware of a Comcast scam ! ! !
In checking my current Comcast bill I discovered that they are attempting to charge their customers for service calls to equipment you rent from them.
My bill reflects a $24.95 charge to replace connections to their equipment over which I have no control. CONcast is spouting a line that their responsibility STOPS 12 INCHES BEFORE the cable comes into the house and anything beyond that is the customer's responsibility even though they may rent the equipment and have no control over it.
I never signed a work order and when I asked them to send me a copy of that specific service call CONcast cannot seem to find it.
Obviously, I am not paying that part of the bill and if forced to I will dump all of CONcast's equipment on its front door.
So, check your bills carefully because Comcast is trying to scam its customers wherever they can.
