27 years old? Good luck.

It's funny what people think used equipment is worth. I was talking to a guy last week with a 1982 Harris Executive console he wants to sell. Told me he wouldn't take less than $6000 for it. I told him that for $6000, I can buy a new console that's a whole lot more flexable than the Executive. Anyone that pays $6k for a 28 year old console is a fool.

If Ogonoski (sp?) still does the mods, the FX-30 turns into a nice sounding box. The caveat is it then wants a UPS because the mods to get modern sound through it slow the AFC wa-a-a-a-a-y down on lock. And, the cost of the upgrade and UPS is about what the thing is worth upgraded.
