Beach Radio now on 96.7 Monmouth

Curious to know when Townsquare acquired a translator on 96.7 (poossibly the former W244AS location) broadcasting Beach Radio. I like the music, feels like a mix of WHTG (100.7) and WJRZ in one. But why little promotion about 96.7 and only mention their 104.1 signal on the sweepers?

96.7 W244EE Asbury Park - 50 watts from atop the WADB site (same tower as 94.3 WJLK) should get a good signal across most of central and Eastern Monmouth as well as Far Northern Ocean County - Where 104.1 ends. Should complement 104.1 well

Only 50 watts though. That's not much but it is centrally located in Monmouth County... Wouldn't they be able to increase power (up to 250 watts) and maybe add a directional antenna to the north to protect WARW...
Its a good station though I'm not there in NJ now but hope to check it out next time I'm up there...

Just was in Tom's River today. Heard Beach Radio on 1160 and 104.1. Loved the loud processing and slight reverb.

104.1 was like the last Clear Channel in Toms River before Beach Radio came on. WAEB was easily DX'ed during tropo years ago, so I bet they get out quite well from their current site....Perhaps similar to WOBM-FM (on the same tower) with slightly less signal strength.
