Not me, not anymore.

I have a question, and it's not just rhetorical. This has been going on for months now. Why, in the name of all that's holy, doesn't this get fixed? I mean, anyone with two brain cells to rub together can see this isn't working. This idiotic idea should've been scrapped within two weeks, since it was obvious right at the start that the "show" wasn't working.

And do we know if anyone at Citadel even reads this board? If anyone out there does, then listen up! Beaner and Ken can do a good show, BUT NOT LIKE THIS!!! Either fix it or just turn off WRAX's transmitter during those hours. You'll get about the same number of listeners either way.

Re: Beaner and Ken online?

Do either of the B&K stations stream? They are doing somewhat different shows for each market, eh?

I was working and visiting in Alabama many times last year, and both the morning show and WANZ were such a pleasure to listen to. Such naturally funny talent and great music.

I'd like to make my own judgement about the current show(s).

WRAX used to stream several years ago, but they don't anymore. Not sure about the other one, but I don't think so.

Believe me, the difference between last year and now is quite stark, for B&K and the station in general. Of course, WANZ is gone, but WRAX isn't what it used to be, either.

Beaner and Ken do want the show to flow better.

The PD in Syracuse and the PD in Birmingham can't get together and agree on music for the show. B&K want to broadcast LIVE in Birmingham from 6-10am. They don't want a bunch of New Yorkers on the air all the time. The want people from Alabama on. If the show was broadcast live here then it could happen and it would have a flow to it.

Let's take the music from Syracuse. I know I'm beating a dead horse, but the X suX!

If craniums were extracted from rectums at Citadel, they'd realize the compromise is simple.

The two stations have a lot of modern rock in common, so make all the songs on the show ones that they both play. And run the show live from 5am-9am in Birmingham, repeating hour #1 from 9-10am. . .

If I, the humble listener, can think of this, why can't they?

For the same reason B&K should be done that way. . . Bob and Tom airs live from 6-10 Eastern. I believe WRTR in Tuscaloosa also repeats their last hour.

Beaner and Ken WANT to do it that way. The 2 PD's can't get together on it.

Sad really.

Seems like some heads need to be banged together. They're costing themselves money in both places by not fixing this.
