Bears vs. Cards on MNF - Broadcast TV

Since the game is sold out, it will be televised here. In addition to ESPN, the game will also be carried on Channel 3. KTVK will carry the ESPN feed, not a local telecast like AZTV did for the preseason games.

No over-the-air broadcast in Tucson, however. Folks there will have to watch ESPN.

The national nets sometimes hire local TVers as sideline reporters
if they haven't brought their own, although for the Monday night
showcase I'm sure ESPN is always fully-staffed for this.

But in case they forget--and since the local OTA simul is on
KTVK, I have two words: Beverly Kidd.

Fox used to do this (Kevin McCabe did sideline reporting for Cards games on Fox when he was at Channel 10), but I don't think they're allowed to do this anymore. I believe there's a new league rule prohibiting local reporters on the sidelines during a game. The networks own that territory exclusively now and they have to use network employees, not even reporters from their O&O stations.

Nope, it'll be Suzi Kolber and Michelle Tafoya on the sidelines. KTVK has nothing whatsoever to do with this game's production. They'll carry the ESPN feed as-is.

Keith, I was expecting a much shorter answer!
Something along the lines of:

"What if she doesn't know anything about football?"

To which the obvious reply is:

"Who cares?!" ;D

My God, is anyone watching the post game Channel 3 disaster?

The entire 3 news team has spent 30 minutes covering this game from every angle, stupid stories about celebs, an embarrassing segment with three total slut player's wives (really skanky drunk women on the gravy train) and some gussied up tramp covering drunken fans in the parking lot.

Add in Patti Kirkpatrick who looks like she is trying out for the TV movie "Karen Carpenter, the final days" with her face so botoxed she strains against her muscles to try to smile.

30 minutes of pure fluff, so much for "news"

Sorry, I have to disagree. The real disaster occurred earlier, during the game! :'(
Maybe 3 was just sinking to the occasion.
