Beasley Bets on Bolaris

Per this Daily News article, "CenterStage with John Bolaris" is set to air Saturday nights from 6 to 7 starting this weekend. Interestingly, the article reports "station owners" wanted him for a weekday shift at "another station".

Methinks they wanted a big name for WWDB to draw talk attention there, while JB would rather watch weather maps (and have his show on a signal that's been relevant over the last decade).

Here's to hoping more and more local hosts start popping up on 610 in the near future... but maybe that's aiming a little too high.

Here's to hoping they get a website sometime before December!
 
"I'm just going to be honest and real, nothing phony," Bolaris said.

Well, that should be interesting. We've never seen him do that before.
