Beasley officially takes control of KDWN on August 1.

Informed by an off air employee of KDWN that Beasley broadcasting will officially take over KDWN on that date. I was told that staff is in the dark on their future, and no one seems to know about the current location or a future location or if there will be a total format change . Big revenue on brokered programing may be hard to do away with entirely. Good luck to all the air staff on what lies ahead.

I have suspected that either July 1st or Aug 1st would be the date for the switch ever since the sale was announced. Now the "fun" begins, along with all of the sad goodbyes.

YOU THINK THEY WOULD FLAK IN LOCAL MEDIA...BUT i BET THE MEDIA WILL COVER.. i CAN SEE THE REMOTE TRUCKS OUTSIDE THE PLAZA AND i BET THE BLUE HAIRED TENNIS SHOE CROWD SHOWS UP LIKE THEY DID WITH KJUL.....WITH ALL THE MONEY CLAIR THE ECLAIR GOT...i HOPE SHE GIVES THE EMPLOYEES BIG SEVERENCE
