With Star's impending format change--(could it be Magic?) KKLZ with Kahuna and Kim Kelly making a gross amount of money for disgustingly low ratings....Mike and Beth could be done for too. Beasley could sell to Entercom....There's only 2 talents on KKLZ, and thats Dennis Mitchell, and Dan Lea...like on Star there's Rick Kelly, and Larry Martino...as for Coyote, Tom Kelly sounds great in afternoons, him and Terrie Springs will be the only dayparts that Beasley can sell.
With the salary of a 3 station OM, 2 overpaid morning/PD's in Mike and Kahuna....(Larry Martino and Dan Lea do all the work and dont get paid crap anyway) it will be amazing to see how much money the new Beasley cluster saves under new GM Tom Davis, and if a sale is imminent this year...It wouldn't surprise me...With Vegas' luck, they would sell to Entercom, and we'd get Jerry Dean back in the market again---oh brother! good luck to all.
I was glad to be a part of radio, when PEOPLE were involved...when a talent left, my first owner paid MORE money to the next guy to get somoene with as much or more talent than the guy who was there....
I have to admit, I dont listen to radio much anymore even though I have the time to...the days of compelling radio are over sad to say.

I know someone who used to work for Beasley in Philadelphia and he was shocked at the degree sales ruled the roost, to the point where long infomercials were getting sold during prime dayparts. This was going on in a huge market like Philly, would they let it get that extreme here?
 
Beasley needs to get off their ass and start streaming online as they have in FL.....everything is a lick and promise when it comes to LV.

Not trying to change the subject, but what stations of Beasleys in FL broadcast online, I know a couple from Miami did at one time (Power 96, QAM), are any the Ft. Myers ones? I used to live down there and would love to hear them...
