Beat LA Or Shower Stall Singers

I think this week would be a perfect time to drag out the old Shower Stall Singers tune "Beat LA" from the glory days of Fox 97. Anybody still got a copy? I sure wish I did.

I do not have that tune but I do have the 1991/92 Shower Stall Singers "Taking Care of Pittsburgh!" The song even includes a "warning from the Fox-97 Crew."

Other stations got in on the Braves post season fun too. Peach 94-9 (Then a Braves radio network affiliate) produced some special rally songs as did Kicks 101.5.

I miss this CD so much. literally if someone can find me the album the shower-stall singers put out for the new millennium, I will pay a generous amount for it.

BEAT LA would be perfect for right now.
But we can never forget the classics such as:
"Big Chick....uh-huh"
"Mike, don't bite me ear. I said it once more, don't spit it out on the floor..don't bite my ear."
"I fought the lawn and the lawn won."
"Taking care of pittsburgh, every day!"
"i want a beanie baby"
and of course:
"all you computer geeks, Y-Y-2-K?!"
