Those new KT'R billboards featuring pictures of the old fart and community organizer are as brilliant as KFWhye's bus cards are stupid. "We Have To Talk" on the bright red (guess why that color was chosen?) KT'R boards nails it. "The Valley's Election HQs" only reinforces where most people go for hard news...and it aint 5~Fifty! Advantage KT'R.

It was eight years ago this month that KFWhyEye moved from 9~Ten to 5~Fifty. A new lineup, better programming, stronger signal and the contested 2000 election combined to spell years worth of headaches for KT'R 6~Twenty. Two years ago this month KT'R moved to 92~Three. While the Master Blogger wasted the first year on FM, KT'R is now poised to make serious ratings inroads in their battle with KFWhyEye as another contested election looms. Perhaps next year Nurse Jeff and I'll be treated to humble pie thanks to the largesse of the Luvable One!

And finally....wassup with those drunk driver PSA's voiced by the Nanny AG, Terry Goddard?? Normally he sounds like Rod Stewart after an all nighter. Creative engineering has Goddard sounding more like the Nanny Guv. YIKES!

Not really, Luvable One as the Nurse and I have repeatedly stated KT'R will eventually beat KFWhyEye 12+. After mucho months of stumbling, bumbling and making some downright stupid moves, the Master Blogger is finally on the right track. But given his tendencies to wander off in the black hole of programming, we've been cautious with our predictions (after all free humble pie doesn't come along every day!). Perhaps next year Nurse Jeff and I'll meet you at Bill Johnson's for pie. But perhaps next year the CCU suits wake up and can Smooth Jazz on 95~Five so KFWhyEye can join you where 90+% of all listening under the age of Leisure World is located. As we've said before, TMISU should buy 5~Fifty and eliminate that scenario. It's only money and they've got more of it than the Feds!
 
It took way longer than it should have, but I agree that KT'R is back on top. They are hitting their stride at the right time during a election unlike the dimobacks going into October.

Only for the humble pie the Luvable One will buy Nurse Jeff and me when KT'R beats KFWhyEye 12+! We would never accept the offer based on under 55 demos as the odds are too great, and we're too damn cheap to buy anything. Redbullfan needs to wein himself off his namesake beverage!

And East Side-West Side Traffic was used for years by KT'R before KFWhyEye claimed it from the dumpster on Osborn. :eek:

What doesn't make a lot of sense to Nurse Jeff and me is why KT'R doesn't use "We Have To Talk" on the air? Somehow the Master Blogger thinks "Talk Radio For Normal People" makes more sense. Yeah, right ::)
