BEATLES

I Still Can't Understand Why There Hasn't Been A Launch Of A Beatles Channel On Sirius.

Consisting Of Beatle Songs, Solo Songs By All Four And Beatle Cover Songs By Other Artists.

True It Hasn't Worked In Terrestrial Radio ... But Satellite Is Niche Programming.

Perhaps they dont have permission from the Beatles library? I know Itunes doesnt have Beatles tunes available. To do an exclusive artist channel, it usually takes the permission of that group/estate/artist or whatever. They have All ELVIS, & Grateful Dead channels, had the Rolling Stones, The Who, and Bruce Springsteen channels.

A Beatles channel on Sirius would work. I also think Sirius should have a Beach Boys channel since they had a lot of great music too. Just curious to know what happened to the Rolling Stones channel on Sirius?

The Rolling Stones, Springsteen and Who channels were all examples of temporary channels created as co-promotions, e.g. for the Stones album and tour, the Who tour and Springsteen's 30th anniversary rerelease of Born to Run. The Elvis channel is a co-promote with Graceland and the Elvis estate. I don't know the details of the promotional relationship with the Dead, but I'm sure there is one. Sirius doesn't just launch these channels for the heck of it. Since the Beatles aren't going to be touring and don't need much help promoting records I doubt there will be a Beatles channel.
