Looks like this year will be hotter than 2005's line up.So far here are the artists who will perform:

Joey Negro
Freemasons
Luz Divina
Amuka
Reina
Danielle Bollinger
Jeanie Ortega
Lucas Prata

Angelo Venuto

And of course no Beatstock concert would be complete without Freestyle:

TKA/K7
Cover Girls
Corina
Judy Torres
Cynthia
Sandee
Information Society
Rockell
Nayobe

With Whoopi talking in public and on station promos about the excitement of joining what she calls the "premiere dance station in the country" why would they change formats?

The bottom line remains fairly strong for KTU... advertisers don't buy the 12+ numbers, and where they do buy, KTU is still quite strong and bills well. It's a business and with Clear Channel already with Lite, I don't see a change to Adult Contemporary for KTU.

Hardcore dance fans might not like the Rhythmic Variety (Disco to Now) format that KTU is pretty much spinning but I think it will be around awhile.

And you may be right Justin.

I'm just preparing IF 'KTU makes a change. With a lot of the personalities either being let go or moving on, I cannot help in the back of my mind that something bigger may go on besides Whoopi and Cubby in the morning.
