Longtime radio personality Beau Bock has died according to tweets from former 790 The Zone personalities. He co-founded 790 The Zone during a 50+ year career covering sports on radio and television in Atlanta.
He also worked at WAGA-TV for a while. I did not know him well but he had lots of personality. I remember he wrote his teleprompter script in pen (versus typed used by everyone else). Don't remember seeing this before. Losing to many folks that were great in the 70's and 80's
I'm surprised that I haven't seen anything local about his passing. I saw an article today about Walter Reeves on the AJC but nothing about Beau. Question, did Beau Bock do sports segments on Z93 or 96rock? I seem to remember hearing him on the radio but I definitely never listened to 94Q.
