BECK AND SAVAGE LOOSE L.A.!!!!!!

LARadio.com reports that KLAA-AM 830 in Anaheim becomes a full time Sporting News Radio afillate come Monday 3/31 just in time for Baseball's Opening Day.

Guess who's courting Bonniville as we speak? ;D

Not like KLAA was all that much anyways; a no show in the ratings and outside of Beck and Savage weak programs to boot.

Does this mean Stephanie Miller will become more a dominatrix of morning drive in Los Angeles? :D

I talked to someone at KGIL and I wouldn't be too sure Beck is heading there; Savage is even less probable. But things could change.

KLAA is one of the worst run major-market stations I've ever seen. Sure, the 500-watt station in Pomona probably looks worse, but as far as stations reaching close to 10 million people, it's a shoddy operation. There is currently no manager; the radio GM is also the manager of some baseball operation. The station sounded HORRIBLE as a talk station, and just recently added local news on top of the 1-minute NBC cast at the top of the hour. How does a talk station compete in LA with 1 minute of news an hour? And no traffic until last September?

I like Glenn, and he may or may not reappear, but Savage was never even a rumor in LA.

I may stand corrected... KGIL is making some attempts to get Beck. We'll see what happens.

I can't believe Boortz is tearing things up there, anyway.

Judging from KGIL's current line-up Beck would be welcomed to the station as the current line-up as of now looks like it's catering to a listening demographic even older than George Putnam's target demo over at KCAA.

I have been listening to Boortz and I find him more entertaining than I had believed, however I also would like Glenn Beck. I usually get bored with Handel after the news because he is so obviously reading from a script written by others. The first two hours of Bill are good but the last two, booooring. I used to tune over to Stephanie before but KGIL comes in much stronger in North Hollywood.

I think Michael Savage is too hateful and poor Saul Levine would have a heart attack if he heard that coming out of his station.

Lose, where something that was had is lost.

Loose, to loosen to untie.
