Beck replaces Ingraham

Yes!!

That is surely good news that ANYONE replaces her. Her show was just incredibly annoying to listen to. And worst of all, she completely monopolized any discussion with both her callers and guests. Good luck getting a word in edgewise if you had a differing opinion than hers.

I was not a huge fan of Beck when he was on before though, but its got to be an improvement. His TV show is much better than hers and he actually will let guests talk. I don't agree with much of what he says, but its watchable. Couldn't say that about Ingraham's TV show.

Hopefully Beck has toned down his show and is using less goofiness...Somehow I doubt it.

ps All the info here was taken from the WOO-HOO post, which I just rephrased for clarity. :)

His show is pretty much as it was. Laura was and will be annoying and I never really listened much to her. Here we have many more choices most of which are much better than Laura Ingraham. Beck would have been a more natural lead-in to Dennis Prager for here in Los Angeles but that is not to be I guess. WKRC probably had this switch in mind and the time the Ingraham was off likely gave them the incentive to move. In addition the fact that Glenn Beck is a Premier Radio show made the move that much more likely to happen.

I'm of the conservative persuasion, and even though I agree with Laura on the issues, most female voices are intolerable for three hours. Very few women have the voice tone that doesn't "grate".

Politics aside, Dr. Laura's voice to me is not intolerable. It has a more "soothingness".

Don't flame me, I'm only referencing the ladies' voices.

As intolerable as her radio show was/is, her TV show on Fox is even worse.

Yesterday's (Monday) show was the worst television I've ever seen. She just can't keep her mouth shut.

Her show makes me understand why Elvis used to shoot his TV set.
