Beefing up the web-waves

I was poking around on Seven Days Website ( sevendaysvt.com ) it's impressive - and it made me ask… Why don’t radio stations have Websites like this? It seems to me that beefing up the web-waves would be an excellent survival strategy for radio. A portal that they could constantly promote… I’ll bet you Seven days gets a 3rd of their revenue from that Website… which I am sure helps up circulation of the print version.

Does anyone have an example of a radio station Website that even comes close to impressive?

Z100 has the best one I've seen. Streaming media, celebrity gossip, even their own social networking platform.

It's ironic that 95 Triple X tries to imitate their website, yet entirely misses the point of what goes into making a worthwhile website.
