Heard last night before going to bed, heard this afternoon while driving to lunch:

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, Channel 42 FOR MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL FEED....BEEP, BEEP, BEEP.

ESPN RADIO AM 630/1240.

At least WARM hires a board op.

Are you *sure* it was ESPN? Sounds more like the RoadRunner Network.

I hear that frequently on WGBI/WBAX, sometimes with different feeds, depending on what it gets stuck on. If it happens during the day, it will run maybe 5 or 6 minutes before someone catches it. On the overnights, it could go on for 45 minutes or more. I would listen to ESPN Radio driving to/from WNEP in the wee hours. One time when that happened, I decided to leave it on just to see how long it would last. 45 minutes later, I was home, and it was still going strong: "CBS Radio Networks channel 42 -- beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep -- CBS Radio Networks channel 42 -- beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep -- CBS Radio Networks channel 42 -- beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep -- CBS Radio Networks channel 42 -- beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep -- CBS Radio Networks channel 42 -- beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep -- ..."
