Note this clip includes the end of KABC7 Eyewitness News. Comedy News had to be a parody of the Local ABC O&O's News at the time when this video was released.
 
I'll bet this was part of the ABC "Wide World Of Entertainment" late night package that also included "In Concert", Geraldo Rivera's "Good Night America", etc. Some heavyweights here...Bob And Ray were the GOAT(S). Also, Kenneth Mars not long before playing the village police chief in "Young Frankenstein".
