My Nielsen rep made a mistake. WECK officially begins with Oct book, however, it was suppose to be Sept! Nothing i can do but state that WECK has a 3.1 share 12 plus for Sept, and 50 plus we are a top 5 with about a 5.5 share. Enough said. My rep has apologized for the error. On to October.....

I bought the book. Look in the rankers. Neilson messed up.

97/rock had a great book. 7.8. HTT did not. Low 4’s

Nielsen is having a few problems with the new CDM rollout. They are missing stations that were not subscribed to the old Summer and Winter books, and not including them in some of the "top line" releases for July, August, September books.

There is something wrong with that chart, starting with the label of "quarterly report". The Continuous Diary Measurement markets no longer have "quarterly" reports... they have 12 monthly reports covering the previous three 28-day periods.

Looking around that site, I found countless errors in format types, and many out of date ownership attributions, such as listing the "Emmis" stations in the September Austin PPM when those stations went to Sinclair in a deal announced in June (with Sinclair taking over the part they did not already own).

They messed up my paperwork and I did not find out til yesterday. I was not happy at all. I am getting all the data today one day late.

Interesting. By chance I met briefly with a well-respected AE this morning who told me Nielsen refers to July-August-September as "the Summer book" (her words, not mine) which would imply quarterly. But given that you and Buddy detected problems with the rollout, it could be terminology hasn't been synched. That, and old habits die hard. You'd know best. We're counting on your great and unmatched wisdom to sort this out. And Buddy... nice work. Even though it's not the four you were hoping for. It's still a tribute to your programming acumen and staff.

Thanks. It will be over 4. Unweighted it’s already way over 4
