The Steve Cannon of WCCO that passed away is NOT Steve "Boom Boom" Cannon.

Hey Chuck. Where did our Boom Boom retire to and did he ever get back in the biz?

I don't know where he is...I've looked, but no luck.

Sorry to take so long to reply...unexpected surgery and hospital stay.

I'm still on the playbill; back on 5/10. No cut effects on me (so far and thank God!) or the show. Hoping for an opportunity or three in the near future.

Chuck, the impression I get is that basically no one at 'TVN knows where Steve went. You've got the most solid answer I've seen!

And yes, I was aware that the WCCO guy wasn't "Boom Boom".

Someone mentioned Pennsylvania in an earlier reply. For some reason I seem to remember Steve being originally from the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area. I can't remember if I heard him say it on the air or I read it someplace or both. I can't imagine him returning to that area after so many years unless he has a lot of family there since he was gone for so many years.

Let's hope he's doing well and happy. Maybe some day he'll check in.
